Goodson Insurance was founded in 1947 by Herbert N. Goodson (who was a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 1941). Herbert lived by the Aggie Code of Honor; 'an Aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal, nor tolerate those who do'. He also believed that if in the course of conducting business you cared about people, and their families, then everything else would take care of itself.
